These are two pictures from me as a little kid in Paris. I think they are just about the only photos I have of myself as a kid. I know my parents have more in albums and stuff but I haven't bothered scanning them.

I remember really loving this trip, especially the science museum, effiel tower, and arc de triomphe (no duh I was a kid). There was also a totally rad castle in the louvre, and they also had a radio-tour in english which rocked hard. But I was really disappointed because I had just finished a paper on Jeanne d'Arc and there was supposed to be a festival in Orleans about/related to her the week after our week in france.

As a little kid, I used to love exhausting myself by doing handstands, usually on my bed.

Now two pictures of me and my brother sleeping the Musee D'Orsay in Paris. I think we did make it through the ground floor, but it was the late afternoon of a long day of museums, walking, eating strange things.

I'm not sure whether that's a book in my hand, or the original gameboy. If it's a book it's most likely a fantasy book. It might be a museum pamphlet though, we collected a lot of those :)

Really, in general this trip was a lot more fun then sleeping on museum benches!

Probably my best memory of the trip was playing tag w/ these french kids I couldn't even talk to in the fancy garden courtyard of one of the other museums (can't remember which). Sadly no pics of them.

very nice! I have yet to see any frozen water when away. I tend to stick to warmer climbs.

Lets see-here are a couple from my last mini break in the north of Holland:

I went on a 12 day trip to Europe in 2006. We went to Paris, Cannes, the Riviera, and Ez in France. We took the TGV (high speed train) south, and then traveled by tour bus to Pisa, Assisi, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, and the Isle of Capri. I took more than 600 pictures on the trip. Here are a few highlights. :D
