we spent the evening driving along the coast and stopping off at some of the bays.

SoS had a great time at the aptly named Undertow Bay

Image

It's a beautiful spot

But...gosh it scares the willies out of me...all I have to do is look at this sign before walking down there (click on the thumbnail)...

And then we spent the rest of the evening at Shack Bay:

Yea, it's me. Sorry for the switch but after a rather intense discussion last night on the Watch, I decided I didn't like "Girl". :) Maybe I should just go with Ki. (I'm rambling)

Anyway, I really enjoy seeing your pictures. You are talented. Seems like several people here have a special gift for seeing the world and then sharing it with the rest of us.

That is a beautiful spot, and you are a very good photographer.

I guess I was gone awhile - SoS has sure grown!

I posted this pic in the Loresraat forum, but might as well put it here too:

Image

-manual mode, ISO 100, aperture f5.6, 10 second exposure

This was the best shot I managed to get of this evening's lunar eclipse. It was frigid outside (-26 C) so I only stayed out long enough to take a few shots on the tripod.

Oh, btw, Sea, love your shot of Shack Bay and that starfish. :)

And Chrysalis, I like that nighttime shot of London. 8)

Wow. Sea, MM, some fab shots. I'm totally blown away by that moon photo and the one of SOS boogieboarding is priceless.

Thank you Lyrlove. I had a great time taking them. It was very nice to sit on the beach and just watch and snap the world around me. I'll post some hot surfer shots later.... just for the ladies...
