I'm having an internal debate, do i go ahead and buy the sandgorgon or continue to save up for the forestal?

Was there ever mention of the sexes of the other Forestals? I remember only ever getting a description of Wildwood.

Also, when it says the One Forest created the forestals -- did it create them out of whole cloth, so to speak, or did it create them much as Wildwood created Caer-Caveral?
