top of the flagpole to ya

Post by madsage »

yikes, until I can figure out the intentions of all you cats and kits, it doesn't look easy being on the fence...I'm no math wiz, but wouldn't joinin a court make the god numbers uneven?

The Vegas in me likes a 7-7-7 split if I stay uncommitted... I'm not sure if I could handle getting caught in the middle of a bidding war.

Unless it's fun.

Keep in mind, none of us, other than the AllFather, really know the advantages of being on a Court for now, other than there being the potential for forced alliances. I believe more will become clear as the Game progresses.

Forced alliances yes but there is also always the chance that there is conflict within the court as well.

And there are those of us who have alliances across Courts. Devaguhya and Zephyr share a continent and are supportive of each other. So ... while the AllFather might construct reasons for there to be Court conflicts in the future ;) , such conflicts are certainly not my focus!!

I recommend you all take the last line of Calais's story post to heart and memorize those words. Truly good advice.

I've heard it said, Koel, that Time is the fire in which we burn.
All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest

Hmm. It's said that Enstorm is subject to a form of divine wind.

Unzen, your comment reminded me of Asta's thread in P2 - The Wind Breaker.

LOL!

I notice that some people have taken shy steps into the Pantheon store, but most limited-number items are still up for grabs. In particular, membership into the Courts and the Houses.

And of course, comments on the items (and suggestions as to what to put up next) are welcome :D

Fascinating reveal, madsage. I'm really curious as to just where Poymun is.

Indeed. Very different, and excellently done.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Yeah, I thought so too. Like the outsider's perspective.

In other news, I can now finish my actions. And the delay may have been good, because I've just thought of a solution to how to do something I'd been thinking about for a while.
