Wiki is notoriously unreliable. Anyone could jump in and change the article to suit what they wanted. Out of curiosity (not that I have anything for or against Shatner), I followed a link from Wiki which purported to be his 'official site'. There was no mention there of his death, so I'd say there's a fair chance it's bogus.
