Phoogle Map

Post by Vain »

If you use the default scheme for this board then you will notice a Phoogle map link next to the Sudoku link. I've been meaning to integrate a user map to the board for ages so hopefully this is somewhat useful for you.

You can add yourself to this map by clicking on your profile and following the relatively easy steps to add yourself - it's essentially a case of zoom into your location and save your profile :)

I'm getting the words "Phoogle Map" in big letters under my posts--is there supposed to be an icon?

A bug: Avatar's marker appears at first at the top corner of the map; it stays at its map position when I drag the map around, but when I zoom it stays not on its map location but on its position on the screen when I zoomed--so it ends up moving around, and even disappearing off the edge of the map...

But it DOES work in FireFox!

*nod*

It doesn't work on my AOL (IE based) browser either but does on FireFox for me as well. But I have the same problem with the Frappr map, and I am the administrator of that one. I think it is a googlemaps error.

I fixed myself; right on my front porch.
You can't zoom in too close, but if you see a white slpotch right below the happy face, that's my truck (it's only blue here)

No need to delete - possibly lock it?

well its not working for me right now.

When I go to page two, it lists Xar and Whiskeyjack, and shows their faces on the map; yet on page one; it lists twenty members, but doesn't show the on the map.

I'm fine with that.
But, uh...
I don't have the tools to do so in that forum.
