Jenn forced me to watch the whole run of Yacht Rock the other day. Though the premise doesn't sound all that gripping, when you sit down and watch it it's actually really funny. It's hard not to develop an obsession with impossibly smooth music after watching.

Essentially, Yacht Rock is to smooth music what Fantasy Bedtime Hour is to Donaldson (though the format's different, of course).

Y'see, that isn't much of an endorsement as much as a deterent. I used to listen to a lot of smooth music in the early 80's and ladies didn't want to date me.

WHOOOAAA there,,hold on a second...now let me see here..since i didn't listen to the pablum in its first go around,,how in the world would I be cool if I watch a send up of it all now..?..Thats like going out doors today in Phoenix to cool off..Yea..when they do a number on Bob Seger,,then maybe I'll have a watch..That sob deserves a kick in the crotch.
