For reasons I cannot imagine - especially after I sent him the same "THREE DAYS UNTIL DEADLINE!!" kind of txts that I sent many of you!! - he thought deadline was yesterday, the 28th. He's not intending to drop out. I'll be more specific in my txts to him from now on.

Called him, and received the same. There's been a lot of happenings at the theater lately, including an audit, so I can imagine that the projectionists are kind of strained right now. That, or he could've just forgotten. Dunno which.

Since I've been asked twice already, and more people could ask in the future...

Despite the Wealth value you have, and the Treasury you had the previous turn, you might find when you get a new turn that your Treasury is either higher or lower than expected. For example, if in turn 3 you had 5 Treasury and your Wealth is +4, you would expect to have 9 Treasury in Turn 4, but might instead find you only have 1.

The reason for this is that your followers will take Treasury as they see fit to meet general expenses, or to solve particularly catastrophic events. For instance, if you suffer an earthquake, your followers will take money to rebuild without need for you to tell them. Also, some events take money from the Treasury directly - if you lose an important shipment, or if you have an ongoing war or crusade, for example.

An important thing is that if something like this happens, and your Treasury does not have enough points to cover the expenses, your followers will start getting disgruntled and you will begin losing Contentment.

Hope that clarifies things a little bit!

New events have been added to the generator, including finding a Survivor, having Blundering Followers, developing Technological Advancements, suffering Rebellions, and three new kinds of cults: doomsday cults, atheistic groups, and a third, super-secret kind of cult...

A minor modification to the rules concerning Courts, Divine Right and Waxing/Waning - specifically, how these things are affected by the sudden addition or departure of one or more deities - has been edited into the rules.

Those things are already out there. And Abominations, fire-beast-summoning adventurers, mutagen-carrying adventurers, etc etc etc. Still waiting for a random event that's good for Forests!! Any meteorites hit that cause Trees to flourish? Any mortal come up with a spell that "accidentally" grows a Forest where there wasn't one before?

And don't forget the CUPID ... I think that story won ... so Xar should have that event in force. Can you picture CUPID's impact on battling Orcs and followers of the Void! :haha:

Hey...I hear there's a Spirit of Love running around as a random event...

*big grin to both Fist and Creator for that one*

~edit~

There is definitely a random event based on your winning entry and a creation of Bhakti's, Creator. It's even written up in the background thread...

Why thank you good sir. I hope it helps put some fears of my oh-so-evil ways out there to rest amongst some of you, not looking at anyone greenskins in particular... :P

and for a non existent deity, Th Void sure gets alot of Pms from gods wanting to talk. Im starting to run out of cool ways to talk back whilst still maintaining the non existent part :s
