I dislike that despite being the inferior meme, it is this and not the "silent Garfield" comics that were stolen and posted on the currently-circulating-the-internet site linked above. Whoever it is posting them on that page might have at least given credit to the place where both ideas originated.

In my opinion, the funnies haven't been funny for a long time. I used to find humor in them quite often - now when I read them I end up thinking, "That's not funny - why do I keep reading these things?"
...and yet I read them almost every week.
So is that optimism or pessimism?
