Does the earth still remain after LA resurrecting TC?

Well, admittedly, enough time did not transpire at the end of FR after LA resurrected TC to know the answer yet. However, I can't see how the Worm would devour the Earth at the beginning of the second of four books.

As of now, the Earth still remains. Whether or not it will endure as a result (whatever exactly that is) of LA's actions, time will tell.

But my point remains: beauty shall not pass utterly by the exertion of such risk-filled actions. In fact, they're necessary to achieve redemption AND ruin; a paradox, like so much of what takes place in the Land and the Chronicles.

No. Just because LA's way doesn't succeed doesn't mean that it did damage or the masters saved it.

Also this assumes that SRD doesn't attempt a "bad things happen but positive overall message" or something like that.

I think it's fair to say that at the very least corruption will survive even if the land and the world don't end by the end of book four.

Amani, if TC has become one with the Arch of Time then, in a sense, he has become one with Creation. I'd bet dollars to donuts that, according to Donaldson, that's just as good as being one with the Creator.

Really? I am pretty sure the creator is very explicitly described as being outside the Arch of Time. (this is why he is unable to reach in and stop foul w/out shattering the arch).

And excellent posts earthbrah, I sorta had a vague feeling of the same ideas as well but I was never really sure of how to put them. Certainly when it comes to linden being willing to sacrifice all for jeremiah, it's very reminiscent of Cov ignoring the summons to save the girl.
