everything we do is based on what we've done.

Do you see much of a problem with that?

Leap years work..once they were fixed that centuries divisible by four don't get leaped....why bother changing?

I would have been more broadwith the Clock thing, simply saying that it was a fifty-fifty chance which way they ran-they wouldn't work very well is they didn't move.

Here's an easy one:
Why is everyone in love with this emoticon :P
nowadays?
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

clocks run clockwise because we tell them to.

hot dogs and buns come in different quantities because alot of kids don't like buns and just eat the dog.

dalmations are the dog of choice because if they get lost they are easy to spot.

we have leap years because we can't come up with a modern way of tracking the passage of time that relects the natural order. everything we do is based on what we've done.

i win. 8)
you got me on jimmie.

clocks run clockwise because we tell them too, but the reason we tell clocks to run clockwise is because they are an advancement from the sundial.

the "impoderables team" states that hot dogs and buns are packaged differently because of "tradition." your answer is more satisfying.

dalmations are the dogs of choice because they work well with horses, and were used to help guide the horses to the fire. a recent superbowl commercial echoed this with a dalmation training a stallion to help draw the budwiser carraige.

you fudged the leap year question by not actually saying why there's a leap in each year.

I would like my money back sir! :P

When will there be an end to it?
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. There is no fear in love; for perfect love cast out fear.

How do you feel about Menolly's thread "How do you feel today?" having more than double the amount of posts than your, since it looks like she started it about about a month and a half earlier?
