I guess I was just too young to deal with it at 16. At 40 though, what an amazing read. Still have butterflies.
I'm hoping actually reading WGW will help me enjoy my re-read of Runes

Welcome to the club brother. better late than never, and i bet you have more appreciation now than you would have then..or at least it sounds like it. I didnt read alot until i started the Covenant Chronicles and after they were done i was on a mission to find something that made me feel the same way as the chronicles did...im still looking 23+ years later, i came close with stephen kings dark tower...my love for them is parallel but Kings ending to the Tower series put Covenant in the lead by three lengths, dont get me wrong DT books 1-4 will always have a favorite spot in my mind, especially drawing of the Three.Stutty wrote:Yep. Just after picking up WGW for what I thought was a re-read, I became pretty sure it was my first time through. I know I've spent the last 24 years saying the second crons sucks, and that's truly sad. As now I know... wow....
