I have a bullet wound on my chest, kinda almost on my boob, from when a bullet shell went down my shirt and I couldn't get it out before it burned me. I think the scar will go away eventually, which is too bad.

<-- This, out of any image I've found online, is my favorite and I have no idea where I got it or who created it, but it's been on my hard drive for years and has served as inspiration to many stories.

I think tattoos on men are incredibly attractive, but out of the millions of guys I've dated, not one has had tattoos :(

When I was in the third grade I took a reading test that determined that I had an 11th grade reading level.

When I was a kid I was able to read for hours and hours straight, but now I get distracted and can't read for more than about 30 minutes straight.

Luis Royo is the artist of that image, I think.

dAN, you're right!! After looking for about two seconds I found the image. You're pretty much my hero, and I feel dumb for not recognizing Royo's artwork, especially since I've met him before. Thanks buddy :)

Phantasm- I don't particularly like Felisin, so thanks for ruining my picture :P

Actually, if you count the "love dot" tattoo I got as a kid from pencil lead on my right ring finger, I have "tattoos."

And yes, I am happy in a relationship. But I'm still a big naughty flirt.

How can you say you like men with tats but never sought out one to date.? It would show your real intention that you dont like men with tattos'ed and have a desired longing for liking men with tatto's. :? :P

I have two tattoos, and somehow, they both ended up being primarily green, one I got when I was about 18, and the other about 3years ago. Before, anybody says anything, I just thought I'd add that as a "little known fact", since we were on the topic of tattoos. :)
Has anyone seen my keys?

You scare me!

I really wonder why some people are better than others at retaining their early childhood memories. Are their brains more densely packed with neurons? Did they have more outside stimulus?

In any case, I doubt that my early years were intellectually stimulating. For my parents, who were in the middle of Mao's regime, those years were likely not very happy. I have a distant, fuzzy memory of watching what must have been propaganda films with my family. Noble Communist doctors, heroic Chinese naval forces...versus those darn traitorous intellectuals and evil imperialists, I'm sure. Obviously I'm saying all this from hindsight; at the time, I was just another fresh mind the Communist Party was hoping to indoctrinate. Gotta zap 'em while they're young.

But at least there was the Monkey King. His (mis)adventures were probably my first real introduction to fantasy; the Monkey King was my first childhood comic book superhero. Then my family came to the West, and new pop heroes and icons took over my imagination, whether Luke Skywalker or Superman.

I suck at the dating thing :(

I used to bite my nails pretty bad until I got a wart under my left ring finger which stayed there for about a school year (it wasn't that big and I didn't want to waste time at the dr.s about it). Ever since I've never, ever bit that particular fingernail and I bite all my others a lot less. (That finger nail is always longer and prettier than the others, too. It has magical wart powers.)

I met Marc Singer once (frikkin Dar, the frikkin Beastmaster!) but I didn't recognize who he was and the memory has never failed to make me sad. Cause I coulda, you know, like talked to him and stuff. And been all "DAR!!" and he'd be all "Actually, my name is Marc" and I'd be all "Oh my GOD, you're DAR!!!!!!11!" and he'd be all "Um, I'm sorry, I'm trying to have a nice dinner with my wife" and I'd be all "Do you have the ferrets with you RIGHT NOW?!" and he'd be all like "Can we get some security in here, please?"
Except that he wasn't actually having dinner... but you get the idea.

I'll always remember Marc Singer as the guy who starred in V.

No, I've never met him.

That's awesome. I would have totally asked about the ferrets as well. After all, it was the Beastmaster movies that made me want one in the first place.

...did I know about this...?... 8O

I once had dinner with Burl Ives. (Yes, he's been dead for quite some time. This was awhile ago.)

I have interviewed Jesse Jackson, Howard Dean, and Larry King. (Dean was governor of Vermont when I talked to him. There had been a huge ice storm with massive damage up near the Canadian border. I left word with his p.r. folks for comments, thinking a low-level mucky-muck would call me back; instead, Gov. Dean called me on a cellphone from a Humvee in which he was touring the damage. The play-by-play he gave was fabulous! I pulled the first sound bite and ran it out to the anchors immediately. They were thrilled. But the only thing the producer said to me was: "Did you equalize it?" )

I asked a question of President Ford at a news conference (after he was out of office). And I sat next to Dan Quayle at a different news conference (before he became vice-president, and *way* before the whole "potatoe" thing).

I got the same grade in "Nonverbal Communication" as Jane Pauley (different years). Except she took the class because her boyfriend was taking it, and I took it because it was required for my major. :(
