Lore, First and Foulwife, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well! Hugs to all of you. |G

Jenn, I covet your chocolate truffles.

Balon . . . congratulations. :D

Jaz, sorry the your son and the crows are conspiring to make you sleep deprived.

Foul, you worry me sometimes. ;)

Soulquest, I'm glad to hear that things are looking up! And happy early birthday!

As for me, I've had a mixed 24 hours. I just got an unexpected bill for $200, and though I can cover it, my financial position isn't the greatest right now. Today is the last day of my temp job, and I have not heard anything on the applications I have put in for jobs earlier this week. Also, I still have to make some decision about where I am going to live, and anything I do will require deposits for utilities, security deposit, and pet deposit. On the good side, I get one more fat paycheck after today, and I have some truly amazing people who care about me. And I only had to work half a day today! :D

I'm tired. Had to go over to some girls house last night at around 11pm because she had had a domestic despite (she's someone I know through another friend of mine...but saying I know her isn't exactly right because I hardly know her). But she's a single mom (and she's only 24 years old). But who the f*ck knows. She's had a rough life, she's an ex addict...I think she has issues and I honestly think these cuts she had all on her leg were caused by a razor blade rather than her boyfriend throwing her into a bush (which is what she said) [And there's more to this story but it's all too complicated to relay]. Something did not sit right with me about the whole situation.

Regardless, I stayed until almost 1am then came home...she refused to call the cops etc. Really, I don't want to be involved in all this! I have a nice peaceful existence here. All this drama I'd prefer to just avoid!

Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk! Get it? She's a Foul wife and I'm Lord Foul. It's similar. Kind of like Chaucer and Shakespeare being a species of Elf with the same name and getting married. You know?

I feel EXTREMELY awake. I had three Zero Carb Rockstars and some French Roast, which gave me about 1200mg of caffeine. I'm so awake that my breathing and speech overlap whenever I talk to someone. People keep asking if I'm hyperventilating, which I'm not! Hee hee! And now my left hand is in one corner of the room playing the keyboard, and over here my bones are decalcifying into putty. I think I'll go watch Enemy Mine now, starring Dennis Quaid and that black guy with the deep voice. I think I'll order a breakfast platter from *explodes*
Not after you've had all that caffeine, I'd get nervous just sitting next to you. 8O

Seven times seven years from this present time, Lord Foul should, uh, have command over his hands and, er, bodily functions again.

Umm...yikes. So why is she calling you instead of the cops? Is she using again?

I feel sublimely calm, the caffeine finally washing off. It's a tornado warning outside, so I think I'll go proofread a story of mine on the balcony. Okay, maybe the caffeine is not totally gone.
