Turf War

Post by Mr. Broken »

I smell a fight coming, a big fight! How do you see the Masters reacting to having an army of conquest bent Sandgorgons loose in the land? There is also the defeat of Hergrom, and Ceer, at the Sandwall to be considered. The Haruchai do not forget. Linden Avery concerning Hergroms remains.... "What about Hergrom?" "We cant just leave him here." to which Brinn replies ..."He failed." I cant imagine that the defeat in Braitharealm has been forgotten.

Great point!

As much as I love the Haruchai, a sandgorgon would stomp a mud hole in a master. Now think about an army of raver enhanced sangorgons "tear-a$$ing" around the land...no contest.

I agree, the Masters would not be able to win that fight.

You're right, the Haruchai don't forget, but I'm not sure they hold a grudge against the Sandgorgons. For one thing, Nom was compelled to kill Hergrom. Then he voluntarily helped Covenant more than once. So I'd say there's no debt there.

On the other hand, I can totally see a Haruchai wanting to measure himself against a sandgorgon, just because. Or, if the sandgorgons decide to fight against the Land at some point, then certainly there will be some serious whup-@$$ going down.

One thing the Haruchai have proven, they can adapt to a threat , Hergrom, and Ceer , didnt go down without a fight and you never know if there had been 3 of them they may have succeeded. The Haruchai at one time had aspired to combat the Despiser himself I dont see them backing down from the Sandgorgons for a second.

They didn't back down from the Demondim, did they? But still, they'd be slaughtered.

Im not so sure, the Demondim had the full might of the Illearth Stone working for them where as the Sandgorgons present a much more physical threat.
