Is it a movie or tv show? Looks like a movie...

I really enjoy Terry Prachett, and I've read that book, so I look forward to seeing a version of it.

It's a two-part miniseries; they previously did one for Hogfather, shown around christmas 2006, which was successful enough for them to make another.

I missed it, myself; may catch a repeat.

I watched it yesterday, it was very cool... as I understand it, it had some incongruences with the written version (I read "The Colour of Magic" a few years ago, so my memories are fuzzy) and it adapts the first two books ("The Colour of Magic" and "The Light Fantastic"). That said, I quite enjoyed it, and the special effects were quite good as well. Christopher Lee as the voice of Death was also a good treat... I love it when he says

I caught part one the other day, and thought it was ok but a bit rubbish, to be honest. Reminded me why the book was so funny, but I'm not sure about the show standing on its own.
