I didn't really see any on the route that I took on Monday, so I apologize to all, but I really think Motel 6 will be one of the cheapest that you might still feel an ounce of safety at. There are some scary places on Colfax that are little motels, which I might check out later in the week, but...I dunno...

Well, it's official. The tax refund has to be spent on 'necessities,' so no Seafest for me.

I'll lurk on the planning.

Lordy, it took me so long to figure out what you meant by "weewax." I almost googled it when I finally got it.

I guess the reason is that some people are strapped for cash, and I'd like to find something close and cheap for everyone. And from peeking online for hotels/motels, etc, I didn't see what I thought I would several times over. So there are probably cheap-ass sites that don't appear on the intarweb, and I'm trying to find them.

Well that sucks, Menolly. But I know what you mean about spending on necessities. I tell ya what, I'm glad I got in when I did--if I were proposing this trip now my partner would have told me to FORGET IT! Unfortunately (for him <grin>) I'm committed to it now!

If it is, in fact, July, I could make it to the Denver bit. If it's actually June, I'll be sending you all jealous vibes from Costa Rica.

You sure you don't want to go to Montana late July instead? ;)

I'm actually going to spend 2 months there teaching English in an effort to postpone getting a real job. Heh.

I'll still be in Denver in July. Unless I luck out and come across a bunch of money and decide to move. I do so want out of the business world of Denver. Otherwise, being independantly weathly here wouldn't be too bad, so maybe I'd stay...
