I'm in ZF for the next hour or two, but when I'm done there we can team up!

It's 2:24 and I'm up past my bedtime. ;)

Syl and I've been chatting a little with one of the guild members, Richardrahll. Despite the name (;)) he doesn't seem too bad; I made him some gear from my spare copper. If I have the materials, the skill level, and the recipe, I'll do smithing or enchanting for anyone who needs it.

Awesome. If one of you guildleader-types wants to throw Sorus or any of my non-aligned alts an invite when you see me on, I'd be much obliged.

Oh, and you will need a rogue to open the lockbox.

I put some money in the guild bank for buying a tabard or whatever - I'll add more later.

I seem to have gotten lucky today. My Silver Bar, which was at just under 5s when I logged off last night, sold for 48s. Then I found that a Scroll of Protection my alt was selling is currently at 15s, when the scrolls usually sell for only 1-2s.

We need a rogue in our guild!

You'll have to take it to one of the cities and ask around for someone with lvl 70 lock picking skills. I'm working my rogue on the Dalaran server up to 70. There are practice boxes up in Alther's Mill in the Redridge Mountains. I was there yesterday practicing on it and got up to 56 before the tarantulas charged me.

I can make skeleton keys and open boxes, but it uses up the key; it'll take a while before I can hit that kind of skill level, though. atm, I can make Silver Skeleton Keys, which I believe unlock up to 25 lockpicking skill.

Edit: I'm now an Expert Blacksmith. I need 1 point on my Mining to go Expert, but I can't find any Tin or Silver so that I can gain the point.

I always forget that blacksmiths can do that. Engineers can blow the locks off boxes (and doors) with explosives too. (Have I ever mentioned that I love being an engineer?)

Luci - glad that got sorted out quickly. It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes people do 'fall through a crack in the world', and it can take days to fix. 8O

Worst thing like that that happened to me was with my first character in Darnassus. I was about level 7 or 8, and I fell off the edge at the Cenarion Enclave, hit some kind of ledge, and died. I went back to get my body, and my ghost missed the ledge and fell into the ocean. I had not yet discovered the portal in Rut'therian Village, and looking at the map, there is no way to get out of the ocean back into Darnassus. I think I went around the zone twice before I decided I was gonna need to swim to another continent to find a spirit healer. Discovered a few seconds later that ghosts could drown if they strayed too far from shore. Eventually found the portal by accident and spirit healed. Not the most fun I ever had playing.

Heh. The friend I used to watch playing WoW fell off Teldrassil once. IIRC, he was on this tree that sticks out over the side, fell down to a ledge and died. When he came back, he could spawn on the tree--but he fell again, to an even lower ledge, heh. He gave up in the end, I think.

I'm currently having the problem Luci just recovered from, heh. My game froze while I was swimming, had to restart the computer, and now I'm stuck.

Edit: I had minimised my game to post this, and when I went back it had spawned my spirit in the graveyard.

Anyway, that's the new guild tabard. White on black (ok, dark gray) to signify the alert eye in the dark. Green runes for the connection to SRD.
