I watch TV, when I can't sleep, and have little to no other options for distraction or entertainment. My remote is collecting dust, and that's the way I like it.
Has anyone seen my keys?

Robin of Sherwood, series 1.

Best version of Robin Hood ever. And a baffling early appearance from a youthful Ray Winstone as Will Scarlet. I got this boxed set a few years ago and decided to rewatch it recently, but having now done so, I don't think I ever finished it the first time round.

Oh, my god! I am watching this right now too. I just got the first two DVDs from Netflix. I used to love this on Showtime, and still have a copy of the last episode of Season 1 on VHS somewhere. It was especially good to high school me back then, and I wonder how it holds up. The episodes I've seen so far aren't as good as I remember, but I'm still in love with Marian. She is just lovely. But this is what made me really like Ray Winstone. I thought his portrayal of Will Scarlet was fantastic.

The standouts are the last episode of Season 1 (I think it is called The Greatest Enemy or something), and the Seven Swords of Wayland or something like that. Am watching one now with John Rhys Davies, which is kinda cool.

That's the last episode in my Complete Season One set. :?

The series does look very 80s in places, and Robin's acting is sometimes a bit off, but I like the slightly more sinister take on the whole cheery outlaw thing. And, as a Nottinghamian myself, I appreciate the attention in detail in some areas - like Nottingham Castle being in the middle of the city (which it is, and was) and the mention in one episode of some traveller or other heading 'towards Rufford', Rufford being a (now) ruined abbey with a nice lake.
