I also can't vote. I think the polls might have closed some time ago (as this thread was started 8 years before I was born ;) ).

I think Pepe would find himself in legal trouble these days.

OK, I'll grant you that Foghorn Leghorn is a riot. "You turn, I say, you turn from our world to save life in your own..."

And Pepe... "I am ze locksmith of love, no?" "Ah, ze small one, she makes herself dainty for me." "She wishes to kill herself to prove her love for me. A touching gesture, but I must prevent it."

But come on people!! There has never been anything like Bugs Bunny!!!
"Watch me paste this pathetic palooka with my powerful, paralyzing, poifect, pacadoimus, percussion pitch."

(F&F's note: "poifect" is how someone from Brooklyn says "perfect." And "pacadoimous" is, presumably, "pacadermous."
"OK, Clancy, get the boys and surround the house!
*sound of door being broken down*
Ok, rabbit, where's Rocky hiding!"

"He's not in this stove!"

"Oh ho, he's hiding in the stove, eh rabbit?"

"Now look, would I turn on the gas if my friend Rocky was in there?" *hssssssssss*

"You might, rabbit, you might."

"Well would I throw a lighted match in there if my friend Rocky was in there?" *BOOM*

"All right, rabbit, you convinced me. I'll go look for Rocky in the city."
And who out-magics Merlin himself!! Lights his thumb on fire, and while Merlin's trying to match the feat, he puts Merlin into an infinite horse suit! Bugs is the greatest wizard of all-time!!

And a cross-dresser that puts Ru Paul (sp?) to absolute SHAME! Bugs was HOT when he wanted to be! As when he uttered these immortal words: "Oh, I would just love a duck dinner!"
As well as the immortal What's Opera Doc (Kill the Wabbit, Kill the Wabbit):
"Oh Brunehilda, you're so lovely."
"Yes I know it, I can't help it."

And his overwhelming genius, perhaps best seen when Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius gets a hankerin' for a rabbit dinner.

I could go on for weeks! :)

Coyote Supergenius totally destroyed by Buggs at end of cartoon sets up door-briefcase in front of wabbit hole, knocks on door, Bugg's appears, Wile E: "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is mud!" falls face fist on ground. Buggs, to audience, "And wemember mud spelled backwards is dum!" :D

My favorite WB cartoon by a wide margin is "Duck Dodgers in the 24th 1/2 Century".
"A hah! I got the drop on you with MY disintegrating pistol!"
"Well what do you know, it disintegrated."
