Looks good! I saw you AFK over by the canals when I was coming back from getting my new robe.
I made it to lvl 20, but it was a struggle with a low drop rate on the quest for getting crab chunks for the fisherman on Darkshore. It took me a half hour of screwing around to get them. I finally found that cave with the bear. I'm still not sure how I found it.
Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.
Hey, all my Silver and Copper was bought out. I made about 10g.
By the way, the tabard is nice, but my beard covers the icon, heh.
Edit: Found the Paladin quest The Dreaming was telling me about yesterday; it was level 20, but the NPC who starts it in Ironforge didn't have a quest marker (had one of those blue question marks instead). Got the first part done, but the parts for getting the hammer require me to visit three dungeons (Deadmines, Blackfathom Deeps, and Shadowfang Keep)...
had to post this before i go to work!! it goes so well with my outfit!!

Still trying to work out this pally quest. Flew up to Hillsbrad and ran to Shadowfang Keep to try and get the hammer I need, but I kept getting killed by the first pull, so I'm going to level up before I try again there. Went to the Deadmines entrance instead to scout around see how tough it was, but the entrance area already had two parties in there who'd killed everything (and I passed another going in on my way out) so I didn't really get a chance to measure up. Will try tomorrow, when noone's around.
You'll need to be in a group to do either of those places Murrin, or at least get somebody higher level to boost you through. Don't be put off be seeing other people on the way in though, the dungeons themselves are instanced, so once you go through the portal you're on your own.
My internet wasn't working properly last week so I didn't get on as much as I'd like. We've unlocked the next zone of the Shattered Sun Offensive though, so I think I'm now up to about 14 available daily quests. That's worth at least 150g in cash plus whatever useful reward items I get and some of the mobs you have to kill even drop motes. I've been making good money just selling the Primal Mana and Primal Fire. 'Only' 900g to go now!
Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.
I wasn't planning to go in, just to do the cave outside the instance; that's why the other groups were a problem.
The Shadowfang Keep bit of my quest is supposed to be just barely soloable, since I just have to make it to the stables then escape.
Soloing in instances is tricky, but sometimes can be done. I remember soling Fallout on my rogue at level 31, (before they nerfed gnomeragon) and it took literally every trick I had. Potions, Target dummies, bombs Vanish+Ambush, Evasion+prep, Vanish+Ambush, Evasion... Etc. It's not for the faint of heart! (Especially when help is available) Of course, since they nerfed the outsides of most instances, the other quest shouldn't be too hard.
By the way, I nominate the stage of "The Defias Brotherhood" Where you have to find the messenger for most annoying quest in the game.
...Actually in retrospect I STILL think Jailbreak is (at least *was when I did it*) still the worst.

Ah yeah, I remember doing that quest on one of my old horde characters. It's not inside the instance itself as I recall, I also recall dying a whole lot on that quest.
Getting the armoured boar from RFK on my own was tricky at level 31, but at least there you can keep running out of the instance if you're about to die. I remember trying to solo BRD on my rogue and having to wait 5 minutes between mobs for my cooldowns, using a potion every fight. I can't even remember why I was doing it either.

I'm guessing for the Bar event, you used to be able to solo it at 60 (with extreme difficulty). Barman Shanker was pretty much the best Dagger in the game until you could get a core hound tooth for a LONG time. (Until they nerfed the way AP combined with its tremendously slow attack speed. I think it was (is) 2.1, by FAR the slowest in the game.) It's still a damn good dagger, just not as ridiculously powerful as it used to be.

Yes that's it, the dagger that was a broken bottle! I failed to get it, I know that much. I'm trying to remember how my weapons went, I had the Thunderwood Poker and Bonescraper and I remember my first epic was the off-hand Hakkari Warblade from Zul'Gurub. I used that as my off hand for a long time, first as a dagger rogue with the Gutgore Ripper and then I got the Brutality Blade and went swords. Right before the expansion I got the Core Hound Tooth and so went back to daggers and then a couple of weeks later I lucked out on Perdition's Blade, so I went into TBC with the best two best daggers from MC. I've even got one of the bindings of Thunderfury, I started collecting the arcanite for it (100 bars!) but the other binding never dropped

Did the quests I could in the outside (non-instanced) section of the Deadmines. Most of it was incredibly easy (they're all level 16-18, and no elites around), but the undead section was a bit tougher, because they always pull in groups. Had to heal a few times.
I now have Expert First Aid (thanks, Syl), and a mining pick with 13dps.
I went this morning only meaning to check up on the auction house and got sucked into a series of run around quests that took me up to the Redridge Mountains. Time was running short, so I had some fun with that band of orcs hiding behind the big boulder just outside of Lakeshire. I'd get close enough to give the leader a mind blast, then run back down the hill till they stopped following. Then I'd run back up the hill and repeat the process. Productive? No, but it was 6 am and it was amusing.
