Albums you have bought for one specific song, and it ended up being the only song you liked.

Got to disagree with you on Bringing Down the Horse null, for my tastes 6th Avenue Heartache is even better than One Head Light, and there's three other decent songs as well.
fall far and well Pilots!

Alannah Myles, by Alannah Myles, for Black Velvet

Hints, Allegations, And Things Left Unsaid, by Collective Soul, for Shine

I've got more, but these two stand out in my memory for some reason. Alannah's cd suffers from the Golden Earring curse. I'm not sure if the cd's bad, but that one track is so freaking good that the rest of it seems ike it was done by another, much lamer, band. Take a listen to any other Golden Earring song besides Radar Love and Twilight Zone; unless you're a fan of them, you'd never believe they're the same band.

There were some good buys also.

I bought SWeet Oblivion by Screaming Trees for the long, Neearly Lost You (which I had on the Singles Soundtrack) and it was one of my favorite albums for a few YEARS.

I bought a Dinasaur Jr album for the Song Feel the Pain..and the rest of it rocked.

I also bought Soul Asylum's Grave Diggers Union for he song Sunaway Train...and I liked the Album so such...I eventualy ended up buying MOST of their Discography (did you know they have like, six records before that one!)
