I shoulda known I couldn't come on this site and post while trying to be sneaky ;)
I'm normally just a lurker. But I have been lurking for about a year, and I like it very much!

Thanks for the help guys!

I'll be in your neck of the woods tomorrow through Monday, ryanne. I wish you had made yourself known sooner.

Ah well...maybe Passover 5769 instead. ;)

That is a shame, Menolly! Are you here on business or pleasure? The weather has been beautiful this week, although not necessarily ideal for a trip to the beach. I just moved here a year and a half ago, and I'm still not sure if I really like it or not. It's a nice place to visit, though.

I grew up in Hollywood, ryanne, and am glad to be away from the area now. So, it's possible I may still know a little more of the area, seeing as you're still relatively new.

But I return at least once a year for Passover, which starts Saturday night this year, as most of my family and family friends I celebrate such things with still live in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

I'm not all that far away. We moved to what I refer to as Gator Town (Gainesville, FL) a decade ago, where my husband is (supposedly) finishing up his Ph.D. at UF.

I just moved from Hollywood into Ft. Lauderdale, actually. I did like Hollywood (just as well as Ft. Lauderdale, I guess), but I really don't like all the traffic! It drives me nuts.

I've never been to Gainesville, but I would love to go as it's home to one of my favorite rockers, Tom Petty. Maybe one day! :D

...or the current Gainesville resident, who is sick of Petty-mania (especially since his cousin is our current sheriff)...

I'll take the other Gainesville alums, Stephen Stills and Sister Hazel, over Petty anyday.
