838-1689. Yep, I still remember my first remembered phone number. How odd.

Which brings me to the fact that I have to 'pick' my left nostril with a Q-tip. Yes, really.

Are we done talking about names? :shifty:

I loathe and despise the first name I was given at birth. It's from King Arthur, but my mom spelled it funny and it's not real common anyway. Plus my last name is fairly uncommon, too. I got *so* sick of having to spell both my first *and* last names for people. So I legally shortened my first name to Lynne when I got married.

Of course, in typical cosmic payback fashion, the guy I married had a last name even harder to spell than my maiden name, and unpronounceable to boot. So after the divorce, I went back to my maiden name.

I have been known to end friendships with people who couldn't resist calling me by my birth name, even after I told them I hated it and wouldn't answer to it.

That said...Mom told me her other choice for a name for me was Lizette, after my paternal grandmother. I guess I should thank my lucky stars....

The girls' middle names are their grandmothers' middle names. Magickmaker is named for my former m-i-l (who goes by her middle name because she hates her first name!) and Batty is named for my mom. We did the middle names because my mom's name was Gertrude. There was no way in hell I was gonna saddle a child of mine with *that*....

Wow. Now I'm curious about what your name was. :P But, regardless, you will always be Ali to me. :D

I worry that when I get to Seafest I won't be able to keep up with Watchers' real names, and will just have to call them by usernames. :D

I was a semi-finalist for the first season of Big Brother.

After seeing the show, I was thrilled that I was not a finalist.
I let my mind wander and it never came back.

You will have to memorize them all and there will be pop quizzes, Lyr. :P Mine should be easy though since you just drop the "Cameraman" part.

I'm afraid I won't pass. . . I know I'm never going to get used to the fact that BGB's name isn't Bob. Or the fact that Damelon has another name. . . You and Luci may be the only names I get right with any consistency. ;)
