Ah...OK.

The mailing list is an email list for the Watch, so we can be informed of when the server is down or other things the admins deem necessary. I guess sort of a volunteer sign-up for a Watch newletter, instead of the entire memberlist being notified.

Way back when many people were having log-in issues, I setup that group to see if the grouos thingy would help fix it but the problem got fixed so I didn't need to experiment. It's redundant actually and I should zap it because it has no use :)
