I finished the Tethyr quest line today. I got it on the second try. My healer base instinct got the better of me the first time as I was trying to heal the soldiers instead of what I was supposed to do. Running the finale while a couple of people were passing by trying to do the children's week quest was a bonus for humor.

For me... Friday evening, almost any time Saturday or Sunday... my schedule has been hopping around this week, but I have been trying to get on from about 8-9 pacific to do my dailies. (Making a run for exalted with Shattered Sun.)

Yesterday, I had a good night fishing. I found some debris in Stranglethorn Vale to fish in and picked up 4 trunks out of it. So far I've gotten nearly six gold from two of the items at the AH.

That made up for a frustrating night. I was searching for a tiger there for 45 minutes and never found it.

Awesome. Good luck on your finals!

I often have good luck with floating debris in Menethil, around behind the inn or off the shore near the shipwreck where the murlocs are. STV is usually pretty good too.

I was swimming back from gathering Delfias plans along the coast northeast of Theramore when I spotted 2 areas of floating debris. Between the two areas I plunked out 3 trunks; with the best item and a good green lvl 35 sword. A little further on the way back I found two schools of Firefins, so the rod got some use this afternoon. :)

Yay, Luci!!

Counting the days till I can get a horse!

A human priest has to be about the slowest figure in the game. I've been out run by turtle pets!

I'm a long grinding quest away from lvl 38, so the time's near. I'm getting close to 40 gold, so my ask from the guild hopefully won't be that great. :)

My friend, who doesn't play on our server, told me not to waste my money by upgrading armor as I level. It'll soon be obsolete anyway. Thinking about it, it seems about every 6 or 7 levels some quest or another gives you an armor upgrade that keeps you competitive for a while.

The only thing I've bought at the AH was a wand that had a fire rate of 1.2 seconds.

That said, it's only after I changed my strategy in regards to the AH that I really started making any money. Last week, I thought I was wealthy when I had 3 gold. Now, I spend more time there studying what things are being offered at, and give about 90% of the stuff I pick up a chance at the AH first before I go to a vendor.

I almost never buy armour. There's always a quest reward or a drop (or something in the guild bank) that comes up.
I also only spend money on my blacksmithing (with occasional exceptions) when it's a rare drop ingredient I need, or something like Leather that I can't make.
I sell most of my green drops on the AH; I used to pick up and sell to vendor every item that dropped, now I ignore everything unless it looks valuable (or useful). It hasn't really affected my cash.
I have around 55 gold, because I just levelled up and bought a bunch of skills. I had 65, earlier. I got most of that from just two or three items I was lucky enough to get as drops and sell on AH. (I quite often put green items at 5-10 gold buyout, and it usually sells.)

What I've been up to: Got the key to Searing Gorge yesterday, on a very easy quest chain. Learned Heavy Mageweave Bandage, which I should have gotten ages ago but didn't realise, and I'm two points from learning Runecloth Bandage. I still haven't finished the quest to become an Armorsmith.
