Count me in on the hanger outers. No clubbing for me. I just wanna talk face to face with my KW peeps. And Sea, excellent suggestion for playing it by ear. That way if we overwhelm Carla she has an out.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

There are tears in my eyes and it has nothing to do with the glass of wine I just finished.Seareach wrote:Well, bummer all round (sorry you can't come to Denver D, and Wadders it's a shame you won't be there...)
I know you all will have an amazing time. It makes me so sad to think of all the fun I'm going to miss, but there will be another E'Fest eventually, and we'll work on getting y'all back in the states. I hope. Really, really, really hope.
Also, if I don't get enough pictures to satisfy myself, I will travel to each of your respective countries, hunt you down, knock on your door, and ask politely why you didn't take more pictures. Right before I hit you with a dead chicken. (As punishment)

Danlo, and your point is? The time has come the walrus said to talk of many things of shoes of ships of sealing wax and cabbages and kings and why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings....
That might not be entirely accurate as it is quoted off the top of my head.
SEAFEST IS NEARING!!! BUY YOUR TIX NOW PEOPLE!!!! DON'T MISS IT!!!
Don't worry Vain, many pics will be taken. OH and I have a laptop now so it's going with me as well.

as I recall, Estes Park is really nice. Ali and I talked about doing the Art Museum at some point...but maybe we were doing that later on Sunday...I can't remember...(or maybe we didn't decide on when...)CovenantJr wrote:Count me in.danlo wrote:Estes Park is supposed to be very beautiful-Andelain is in New Mexico, btw.
And improvisation and deciding on the fly is what all these gatherings are about.![]()
(I don't like clubbing either so one suggestion is that we retire to the campsite while others are out and talk, drink and have (cough) some coffee...![]()

Oh, that's a point. I need to steal that song and put it on my MP3 player, then save enough battery to be able to listen to it when I land. Also, I have a tradition of listening to Welcome to the Jungle when I enter a big city. Hmm.Menolly wrote:If you're going

Now I know it's getting close to Seafest. I had to listen to Going to California.

So, Luci, you play guitar. Is this line from the song about you: They say she plays guitar and cries and sings... la la la la

Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.

After spending so much time with Jenn, be sure to put Tony Bennett's I Left My Heart in San Francisco on your player for when you leave...CovenantJr wrote:Oh, that's a point. Okay, I won't worry about it then. Please don't put an exasperated tone of voice to this post, as I could see how it could be misconstrued, but I don't really care what we do as I just want to meet with you all. The only reason I'm trying to hammer out something of a plan is in case I need to do any research into any of this, but we could really do this on the net when people arrive, but that might discount some of my contacts. I just know how many people are coming, and know it will be a little chaotic without a plan and there might be people who might miss something they wanted to attend, but in this wonderful world of cell phones, hopefully that won't be an issue. With that said, my house is available for the weekend, but I wanna tag along wherever the people are, if possible. I'll see what I can do with the specific needs and so forth. Just adding that while I'm sure there are places to dance on Saturday night, Friday would be what I know about. If dancing is no longer on the table, then no problem. I just know it was mentioned to go out for the nightlife, and others wanted the nature. Just trying to appease as many people as possible, really. So I'll just chill and wait for the thing to get underway.
Hoooooboy, can't wait.
