I'm obviously blanking on something crucial here, but what is the logic behind the theory that the Five have been to Earth or know the way back?

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

The four that we know certainly don't know anything about getting to earth. Subconscious knowledge?

I thought it was a pretty good episode, but I do agree that we're not really getting a lot of forward motion as far as resolving some of the hanging plot lines.

I have to say that I find Baltar's moments increasingly ammusing. I loved the scenes where he's correcting Roslyn's ettiquette in talking to the hybrid.

I also have to agree that it was a strong move bringing D'Ana back. Lawless is so fun to watch.

Worth it alone for her literally choke-slamming Cavil.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I was watching it with my roommate (also a huge fan) and in the scene where Baltar was talking to the centurion about free will, I said "could he possibly be doing anything more dumb?" My roomate made the point that whenever Baltar does something really dumb, it always ends up saving the day. (but having long term consequences). What's goofiest to me was that he was doing it *because he was bored*. I love it! No matter how much Baltar changes, hes still Baltar. (Loved the scene where he and Roslin were bickering like two jaded lovers.)

What was funny about Baltar was how we were supposed to believe that an 8x8 gauze pad could actually stop his bleeding. ;)

 It was Wonder Gauze. I'm not at all knowledgable in the medical field, but I imagine loss of blood wasn't the only problem with that wound. But slap on a piece of Wonder Gauze, and you're fine! It cures what ails ya!

Yeah, I figured if they could dump some powder on Gaeta's leg wound to stop his bleeding, this was obviously some kind of high-tech band-aid that onyl looked like regular gauze....

They're probably made out of algae. Seriously though, they must be running out of those kinds of things...

And where do Cylons get their clothes? I'm picturing Centurions standing around knitting.

They work in sweat shops, hence the revolt.

I was thinking....."no way! are we actually witnessing the reason/cause for the begining of the next "cycle where the mecanical Cylons revolt against humans/human Cylons?"
