I would hate that.

****

For some reason, I am ravenously hungry today.

I've seen those desks in the offices of a couple of the attorneys here. As far as I can tell, tho, they don't actually use them -- I always find them at the regulation sit-down-at desk that comes with the office.

So iQ, if you're going to go that route, I suggest ditching your regulation desk. And all the chairs in the room.

Weigh-in is today -- stay tuned. Pretty sure I'll hit the 10% mark today. But we're starting a new session today and weighing in unofficially -- so if I do hit the goal this week, I probably won't get my keychain 'til next week. Which is okay, because by then I might be getting another 5 lb. star. (Yes, WW gives gold stars for every 5 lbs. you lose. It is, in fact, just like grade school! )

Oh yeah! MsMary: *embrace* your hunger! It means you're burning fat!

One more edit: I did hit the 10% mark today! Go me! And she had the keyrings, so I got mine.

I discovered Peanut Butter Oreos, and took them to a party. They sent them home with me. This cannot bode well. :(

Well, after birthday and spring break, I plateaued for a month, but now the scale is starting to move again. I've lost a total of 12 pounds. Just 8 more to go, and swimming season still another month away. So, I can still make my goal.

Man, it is SO EASY to get out of the workout routine. But thankfully, we're back at it.

I haven't lost any weight since the last time I stepped on the scale a couple months ago, but my choir dress is fitting better than it was in February, so some of the fat has turned into muscle instead!

I think I've heard of that test, Hami. It *has* to be more accurate than my scale, which does have a fat-assessment thingum on it, but the numbers don't ever seem to move much for me.... :(

That said, today was weigh-in and I got my 5 lb. star. I'm up to a total of 26 lbs. lost since the beginning of October, yay! My new goal is to shed 10 lbs. before I leave for Seafest in Denver on June 18th. Wish me luck.... That's a fair amount, for me, given my pace so far, so I'm not going to beat myself up if I can't do it. But that's the goal, anyhow.

WHAT?! Are you CRAZY?!? We're not actually going to GO swimming, we're just going to continuously make PLANS to go, and not actually DO anything about them!

Honestly, I don't know what's gotten into you!

you're right though, we should actually go, instead of just planning about it...

Today I am wearing a pair of pants that I haven't worn for at least a couple of years cause they were too small on me. They are a little snug, but they fit.

Congrats, MsM! My wife and I are also now able to shop in our own closets. Too bad its all vintage. ;)

Back in the gym finally... sore from weights, but running outside with the dog as well. Combine that with lawn & garden activity instead of eating on the couch, and suddenly I'm back to dropping pounds again.... funny how that works.

Shopping in your own closets - I love that expression.

And, hey, vintage is cool. :)

Glad to know the weight loss is going well for you. :)

Congratulations to you all!! :)

I haven´t been here for a long time..well i tried but not really hard enough and so nothing happend to my weight (for gods sake i didn´t gain more weight  )

and then 10 days ago suddenly i told myself i REALLY want to be a little thinner..and i managed it :!!!:

i just think about what i can eat every day(depends a little on how many sports i do) and when i will eat..
and it works...
when i am hungry or simply want somthing sweet i just tell myself "NO! not yet!"
and it works..
i lost about 4lbs (my scale shows kg) suring the last 9 days
and i feel a lot of better :)

Yay Hami! :)

I am not going to reach my goal of losing 10 lbs. before Seafest Denver. But that's okay. I knew it was a long shot when I set the goal for myself. And if I beat myself up for not making it, the next thing you know, I'll be sitting here with a container of Haagen-Dasz, in the convenient single-serving pint size, and a spoon. ;) So! Onward!

Now that Seafest SF is over, I have no excuses. And I had a nice pep talk with a friend, so I think I'm ready to get back on the wagon. I shall let you know when there is progress. :D

Heh...I set a goal to lose 10 pounds before Seafest as well, and while I am pretty close, (within about 3 pounds), I dunno if I can do it in a week. Maybe I'll starve myself, but it does look like there were be several eating out experiences this week, which means I probably will not make it.

I guess the svelte Cagliostro is impossible at this point. I just wish Wii Fit didn't make such a disgraceful sound when it tells me how much I weigh. It borders on Baby Elephant Walk. Carla and I were occasionally singing it at the hot springs the prior weekend whenever discussing how bad we were eating there.
