Ravenous

Post by Mr. Broken »

In case any one cares Ive been going through my movie collection and came upon another film that I hadnt seen in a while. Ravenous was there right next to Dogma ( I never organize my DVD's it forces me to search). I had forgotten how much I liked this film , and the performances given by the actors, but I forgot to look up the director. Anyone know?

Ravenous

Director: Antonia Bird

I saw that the other day for the second time on IFC. I liked everything about that movie but the ending.

Has Bird directed anything else? If so it gets a look from me.

Cracker is good.

I also enjoyed Ravenous. It was on tv a while back and I just happened to turn over and ended up watching it through.

I don't organise my dvds either Mr B - but I have a friend who does - via colour!

Ravenous is excellent. Excellent characters, and a really great soundtrack.

Funnily enough, Milcho Manchevski was actually the director for 50% of the film, before he was fired. Carlyle then persuaded a very reluctant Antonia Bird to finish the production. Somehow it worked. I love Ravenous.
