Ok. I'll join in:

1. I've never been to Red Rocks before.
2. I've never gone on vacation with a guy I met on the internet to meet other people I've met on the internet before.
3. I've never stayed in a Motel 6 with a guy I met on the internet before.
4. I've never drank distilled chicken or Seafoam before.
5. I've never claimed to be a polygamist before.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Chipotle can refer to a specific variety of red pepper that is pickled before it is used, or a way of treating any jalapeno (drying and then smoking it) before using it.

At Chipotle, ask for the crunchy chicken tacos, and have them add Tomatillo Red sauce to it. It has a great kick (but not in the face).

Ah, see. I thought they were only used dried, smoked, and reconstituted in adobo. My meat at Chipotle was definitely not marinated in that.

It sound great, but my giant steak burrito with tomatillo Red sauce was pretty kicking as well, hence the craving today. And ali's giant carnitas (pulled pork) burrito looked mighty fine.

I just told Hyperception I was craving Chipotle. His response? "I prefer Moe's."

Nooooo...

I've only eaten at a Moe's once. I thought it was too cutesy. Chipotle has a much cooler vibe. Plus I like their food better.

OTOH, I'm not immune to cutesy Mexican restaurants: www.californiatortilla.com/

Doesn't Chipolte marinate their meat in lime juice?

It's a decent once in a while meal. I like the tacos there, myself.

Is Chiplote still owned by McDonalds?

Darn it, Damelon, I was trying to avoid mentioning that! Last I knew, that was still the case.

I've never eaten at a Chipotle's. There are none in Tennessee.

I've heard too many people getting violently ill after Chipotle's. I've only eaten there a handful of times, and tend to get the salad. I prefer Qdoba for my fast, infant-sized burritos.

I believe Chipotle has higher quality food overall than Qdoba or Moe's. Their base flavors can't be beat at a fast-food restaurant. Chipotle's guac is mm-good.

Moe's is great for nachos - they have queso where Chipotle does not. Moe's guac tastes like green salt - blech!

Qdoba - meh. I have had mediocre to bad experiences there. Overall, not impressed - but still far superior to getting a burger from a clown.

This is how I feel when comparing Chipotle to Moe's. It gives me a base to judge Qdoba as well.

I've never tried the nachos at Moe's, only burritos. I'll keep them in mind if I ever have to go there for a gathering.

I appreciate this, dw. I won't try hunting one down then.

Here in Gator Town, we have Burrito Brothers. It is supposedly a local legend place, and my understanding is so far the owners refuse to franchise. I found them to be alright, but I think Chipotle is better, even if they are owned by McDonald's...

I'm very curious about the chicken but not sure I want to know...!

My thanks for the opening, High L-rd. ;)

We could always continue in The Galley, where cag describes the distilled chicken in the chowdown thread.

Seafest is now officially over for me. I met Luci, and her friend Daniella, for 5 or 10 minutes at a restaurant where I was having lunch around 12:40. Sea had just returned to Daniella's house from some private meeting  and seemed very adamant about hitting the road west...

Hey Sea here. A quick "howdy doo" coz I'm kinda tired right now.

But, Cag! Sh*t! I'm sure I didn't swipe your charger although I can't be sure. I unplugged it from the wall but thought I put it on the bed. Maybe in my mad rush I've packed it. Shall look through my bags tonight and if I find it get it into the post tomorrow!!! Sorry!

As for the thing we definitely swiped...it will be returned soon (and you'll love it more than you did before!! ;))

Other than that, all is goodness and wonderfulness and lots of other things that start with "ness"...although I can't think of anymore right now!

Oh btw Romeo, you're in BIG TROUBLE! ;)

Oh. Didn't think to check for the charger upstairs. I'll do that tonight. I didn't even honestly remember who might have used it. But hey, yeah, if I find it, I'll let you know.

As for the thing you definitely swiped....hmmm.....I can't imagine what that would be. Hint?
