It is most likely two years away before we get together again with SRD in Albuquerque. I think we all decided last time it is better to get together with him after the new book is released rather than before. So, who knows how things will be for any of us in two years.

And as for the timing of when it will happen, I defer all of that to danlo.

Thanks for the info, Menolly! BTW, I have a larger gif version of your avatar but have never used it myself in a forum. I always thought it was really cool. Do you know any background details on it? I just happened to find it one day while searching for interesting gifs. [Note to self: Get more hobbies.]

Did you mean NYC? We are more in upstate NY over in Rochester (about an hour's drive east of Buffalo.) NYC is at the other end of the state almost 6 hours away.

Touche, Menolly. My apologies to all (and for the NYC post, too...)

I did not mean to embarrass you, Andy. I have done far worse regarding off topic posts over a much longer period of time before it started to sink in.

And I did start it myself with the talk of elohimfest...

No embarrassment or hard feelings at all, Menolly! Really. It was long week and I had been reduced to Friday evening babbling. Good call on your part. (And after all, what's an elohimfest post or two between friends?) Have a great evening all!
