Have you read FR?
So how many participants (either active, or lurking) are reading Fatal Revenant for the first time during this dissection? Anyone?
For those of us who have read it, are you enjoying it more the second time? I'm finding it much less problematic. Maybe it's because I know what's coming up, but I'm finding it easier to overlook the flaws. I absolutely hated chapter two the first time around, felt that it was a poor imitation of the earlier visits to Glimmermere. But I don't have that impression at all this time.

I'm starting to think that no one here is actually reading it for the first time. That's a shame, because I was hoping to get both perspectives in this discussion. But on the other hand, it would be really nice not to worry about spoilers.

I am enjoying the 2nd read, for dissection purposes, immensely. As already stated,, the depth of some of the passages in meaning and double and even triple entendre of some of the dialogue really hits some darkness that is almost gut wrenching. Upon completion of the first read, i wasn't sure like I have known to be,, of a 2nd read asap . Now I know why.
If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.
