Ah.. nice! Thanks!

Wonder what qualifies as an 'exotic' pet. They'd better give us more stable slots.

I must have a Killer Rabbit as my new PvP pet. 8O

Well then, there will also have to be the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

I'm finding it hard to wrap my head around all the changes being made to paladin spells and talents. They weren't lying about a complete overhaul...

Hunter changes don't look that drastic, aside from the huge changes to pets... I am thrilled about the new talent that reduces the cooldown on Intimidation.

Latest info on Paladins is big--three different judgement spells, that cast the normal effect plus the effect of Seal of Light, Wisdom or Justice, unless you're casting one of those seals in which case it only does the normal effect. Basically means all judgements apply one of those three debuffs, even the ones that usually just deal damage.

The other big switch around is the "Blessing of"s that have been changed to "Hand of"s--Freedom, Salvation, Sacrifice, and Protection are now completely separate from the Blessings.

And then there are three entirely new spells to take into account, as well. Along with the fact that we'll now need Strength on our gear, and won't need Spellpower.

The prot talent tree is so huge now... I'll end up with fewer points in Retribution and Holy just so I can reach the deep prot talents.

That was a pretty fun fight, too, once we had a handle on it.

Ok, after reading this, we're all going to have to roll a Death Knight.
Lol. Theres a bit of a discussion staring about Death Knight Hot Potato.

Basically get 4 or 5 DK's, surround a player of the opposing faction, spam Death Grip, laugh as opposing player helplessly runs from DK to DK.

For those that don't know:

Death Grip is effectively a taunt that works in PvP. It forces the target to target you and run towards you. 35 second cooldown, 25 when talented.

There have been reports of people using it on people who are on flying mounts. They (sadly) don't dismount, however, they do fly down towards you.
:haha:

(I've seen a video of a DK using Death Grip to AoE grind. Very cool.)

Just had a warrior on QD tell me I need to get much better gear to have any chance doing well on dailies (he'd just helped me out when I was OOM fighting a summoner and Blood Knight (who'd jumped me halfway through the fight)). Didn't quite have the nerve to say I've been doing just fine in this exact same gear for two weeks....
Edit: looked him up, and most of his gear is world drop greens and pvp epics.

If it works for you... it works for you.

I get that from people when they find out I have two cats.

Okay, if I got this far I must be doing something right. :P

Well, I suppose what he actually said was "if you really want to do good here" I'd need better gear, which is technically true, but still...

Well, considering you've only been 70 for about a week, you're doing pretty darn good. Of course you will get gear upgrades, but it doesn't happen overnight.

eh. Have a look at the lists of "Achievements" you can get in WotLK:

wotlkwiki.info/index.php/Achievements

Some funny ones in there, as well as a few boring ones (like "reach level 10").

Sorus, you'll like this:
Multitude of Mounts <NYI> Collect 10 unique Mounts. Both General 25

Ooooh... mounts. 8O

Wonder how it works if you have already achieved the "Achievements".

They give an ironic quest to collect hunter ears.
8O

And why do I think Night Elf ears will be more in demand than Dwarf or Draenai? 8O

Apparently a lot of them work retroactively. Not sure exactly.
