These are this gorgeous succulent ground cover plants that flower in various colors. I don't know the name of them but they spread so usually you get patches of deep red, bright yellow, pinks, purples, oranges and even white. You can see a patch of dark red ones to the upper left of the photo.

Well.. last nite a viscious storm brewed out of two cells colliding over phoenix..below is a small portfolio of the lightning from the northern cell as it came south during sunset...All pics were taken from my back yard. Matter of fact, thats what Icall these,,Back Yard Lightning Pics.

Lurch, I love storms. I miss storms. We don't get storms here in SF. Used to go watch the over the ocean with my Dad on Cape Cod. I loves me some lightning. Gorgeous.
