Andy Inhatko, technology columnist at the Chicago Sun Times, in his
column the other day mentioned
Pandora, an internet radio service. What you do is type in a song or an artist, and it'll play that music and similar music that it thinks you would want to hear. It seems to work pretty good. I started by typing in George Gershwin. Interestingly enough it started with a piece from Tchaikovsky's
Swan Lake. But the piece wasn't out of line for what I was in the mood for.
This set, I typed in Michael McDonald. It started with his version of
Ain't No Mountain High Enough, went to Hall and Oates
She's Gone. Kenny Loggins, Steely Dan and now Ace have all played. I think Jenn might like this it's just like Yacht Rock.
