Dr. Doom was going for a PhD before he was thrown out of college (damn that Reed Richards!) I suppose he got an honorary doctorate from the University of Latvaria or something like that.

Gee, wasn't Dr. Faustus a psychiatrist before he turned to evil? I know Doc Samson is a super powered practicing shrink.

And Doctor Curt Connors is occasionally the Lethal Lizard. He's a scientist by trade but as long as he takes time to do research between bouts of lizarditis.

How about Mr. Hyde? Does he occasionally transform into Dr. Jekyl?

The comic book super villian remains Hyde almost all of the time so his transformation would be toward the good Dr. :-)

if i remember correctly.

Octopus did have a phd.
Doom was kicked out of school before graduation.
Bong i don't knwo. he did fight Howard the Duck.
Dr. Death i have never heard of.
Dr. Evil doesn't appear to have a phd, baby.
Fate: i don't think any of them had a degree.
Strange was a surgeon, so yes.
Savage was a prodigy, we might have.
Samsom was a practicing psychiatrist, so yes.
Druid i believe was also a practicing doctor of some sort.

Dr. Balderdash is based on a friend of mine; anyone care to guess who?
