Not my approval by any means. I try to take pain from others to save them the suffering. I am considered cruel for what I am and yet I thrive on relieving pain and suffering left and right. Cho is considered a benevolent goddess where I am thought to be violent and yet she has caused suffering out of selfishness and stubborness whilst I strive to ease the hurt by taking the pain into myself. All is not what it seems on the surface my friend. Think on that and be dismayed.

That should end it, then...very well. If it continues anyway, though, I believe we all discussed the zealot's god leaving them in the hands of the victim. Thank you for addressing this...

No dismay at all, in that all seem to be getting what they want; there is an outlet for war, healing is controlled, and there is no lack of suffering to be absorbed. Play on, Brothers and Sisters...

O-Gon-Cho has made a mockery of trust. Based on uKulwa's words, Cho served him a dish under a negotiations flag while poisoning his dessert. Her own responses only serve to prove this claim.

Perhaps not. But you know how you inflicted it upon my people. I will not treat with one who holds my faithful hostage to attempt to blackmail me. If you would resume negotiations, withdraw your evil affliction. Until then, we are done.

*sighs* I understand and accept your apologies ... I too grow weary of such wayward followers amongst my own people!

Yes. As I have stated before ... zealots who take Life without my leave will have Life's support withdrawn ... and my Protection withdrawn as well. Do with them what you will ... tho I will be glad to assist if requested. *bows* And any lost who are to precious to lose can be restored to you.

Weather, Earth, and Sea combine their power to destroy Haven. Amongst other emotions, Brid is curious. Why?

Amongst other reasons, to remain in control of the region.

Amongst other reasons? Now Brid is intrigued!

As for remaining in control of the region - ha! If Haven ever had cause to be occupied, then 'regions' would be the least of your problems! But why have three gods used their divine power to knock down some empty buildings? A few men with hammers could have achieved the same result.

But wait! Surely the Windy One didn't actually think that Brid had followers there? That it was occupied already? With your centre of power so close, you didn't even have a look first? Do you think that that the Outcasts of Eiran, Brid's followers, cling to each other for comfort and form nice little communities?

Or maybe Brid wrongs you, and your display was just that - a display, a warning?

But whatever your motives, Brid thanks Weather, Earth and Sea. For when others band together to seek to harm the Goddess of Outcasts, you justify Brid's very existence. A pleasant experience.

I assure you, it was naught but to control the number of cities controlled by who. In the future, I may even destroy a city of my own.

As for my other reasons, you will just have to wait and see.

Fellow deities,

I'm so thrilled I could burst! :D I must share this joyous news!

As many of you know, Calais' and my father was Bhakti, the Second Age's God of Love, Forests, and Nature. And it was Bhakti who created Rakastaa, Spirit of Love. Considering my relationship, I thought attempting to contact Rakastaa might be a worthwhile use of my time.

We have all heard the tales that Rakastaa travels with a woman called the Lady of the Rose. I was very pleased that the Lady chose to answer me. The manner in which she chose to respond, on the other branch, was... Well, to say I was pleasantly surprised would be a colossal understatement. The Lady of the Rose visited me! In person!! She came to Vor-ta-vor, where I was Manifested!!

If that was the end of the tale, I would call it wonderous, and consider myself blessed. But, ah, it is much sweeter! Our father's parents were two First Age deities - Old Bhakti, God of Love, and Elauradaneth, Goddess of Nature. As it turns out, our grandparents had more than one child.

Any guesses???

*laugh*

Aunt Rose and I had a terrific visit last season. Having more family with me is a gift I never imagined receiving. I cannot tell you how happy I am. There are no words.

And Aunt Rose strongly resembles her mother, who also had the domain of Beauty. Ah, if she wasn't my aunt...!!! *laughter*

How exciting Zephyr! Congratulations to you and Calais!

If she is the sibling of your father, do we then have a new member of the Pantheon? Or are not all deity-born automatically ascended? I believe Dante chose not to ascend, but am unsure how those born to the g-ds make such decisions.

...and now that you have a real aunt, perhaps you will consider to stop referring to me as "Auntie cho?" ;)

Well, since you are holding firm on your stance about not wanting me to think of you as my "Auntie", I will stop, O-gon-cho. But thank you for your congratulations! :D

And I will let you speculate about who becomes a deity under what circumstances on your own.

Congratulations, Zephyr.

Are you going to have a family reunion? If so, I'll bring the potato salad.

Interesting that you would bring up family Zephyr. Remember that night we walked the cool darks of your forest and talked of beauty and love and poignant pain of loves lost and found comfort in one another? It seems we got more than comfort for I find that I am with child.

It is indeed exciting news. I admit that I am eagerly anticipating the childbirth.
