I don't quite understand...I think you're trying to tell me that there's no such thing as too much garlic. But when you have acid reflux issues, there is. Especially when the alfredo sauce is tasteless, and there's nothing to balance the taste so you basically get a huge mouthful of garlic. I like garlic okay, but there's only so much of it I can take.Menolly wrote:magickmaker17 wrote:pasta in an Alfredo sauce with peas, spinach, and too much garlic in it; some rice; and a bunch of corn. and water. However, I can see acid reflux being an issue. One I would hate to have myself. {{{hugs}}} But I would have no issue with a mouthful of garlic, myself.magickmaker17 wrote:But when you have acid reflux issues, there is. I have certain issues with Taco Bell, but will say for the price the food is decent!magickmaker17 wrote:But the midnight snack of a Taco Bell chicken quesadilla and Cinnamon Twists was delicious!
haha! that was brilliant!!! And I actually think it was later that evening, thank you! And it was an experiment...I was young!aliantha wrote:Hmm, which one of my kids was it that tried that experiment with the whole clove of garlic...?
The idea was to chew and swallow a raw garlic clove. Whoever it was, her breath smelled like garlic for about a week! Stunk up the car a couple of days after, as I recall....
Oh no, I distinctly recall that trip in the car. It was at *least* a day later....magickmaker17 wrote:haha! that was brilliant!!! And I actually think it was later that evening, thank you!
....hmmm, maybe you're right....I did mention that I was young(ergo it was a long time ago). It was still AMAZING though!! Batty was *soooo* mad at me!aliantha wrote:Poor Moose! And more to the point, poor Jenn!

I'm with you, Stonemaybe. I have experienced the garlic-stink radius a few times, but damn is it worth it.Stonemaybe wrote:The trick to eating whole garlic cloves, is to make sure that anyone you're spending time with, does too!![]()
