I stumbled over one this morning for you. Twice. Couldn't see her in the dark.

 The solution, I guess, is to get a light-colored cat, so that any ambient light will reflect. Of course, my other grandcat, the Lady Morgana, is white. But of course, she never gets underfoot. She just sheds all over me whenever I'm wearing dark-colored clothing....

She's already rather light colored, the hall was just pitch black. :)

Pretty cat!

Heh. I have a big black cat who likes to impersonate a rug in the middle of my poorly-lit hallway. He probably thinks there's some kind of Jekyll/Hyde thing going on since I step over him during the day and on him at night. He also likes to wait until the very last second to react: "Is she really gonna step on me this time? I don't really feel like getting up; maybe she'll go around this time. OMG she's going to step on me!! :hairs:" ...and then EXPLODE out from underfoot. 8O

I feel extremely stressed, in shock, and somewhat helpless due to something life-and-death serious that happened today involving a close friend of mine. I would appreciate prayers/good thoughts on behalf of my friend. I could probably use some prayers, too, to help me help my friend. I'm possibly going to need to visit the campus counseling center to help me deal with this...

Sending good thoughts to those who need em. It's gonna be a hot day today in SF. Everyone was saying summer was over but HAH! I knew we had another day or so coming to us. Moose is being a brat and a half today. Had to alpha dog him. He's being good right now. We shall see how long that lasts. It's tuesday. Life is good.

Sorry for your problems, Auleliel. Hang in there. And yeah, go see the counseling folks -- that's what they're there for. |G

I'm skipping class this afternoon to go talk with one of the counselors. Hopefully it will help...

I'm feeling much better today. Yesterday was terrible. Utterly.

but I slept it off. So that's that.
