Alright!!! I just saw an add on VH1 for Pick-up Artist, season 2! This was a fun show last time, so hopefully it'll be again.

I didn't catch the premiere date, but it looked like it'd start sometime next month.

Who's gonna watch? (You know you want too....... ;) )

Ok, so the show premiered last night on VH1. It looks to be another good group of guys. This group seems to have a little more guts (though not skills) than the group last year. If I recall, last year there were some guys who couldn't even speak to a woman the first night in the bar. At least these guys all tried.

It's inspiring to see the hope in their eyes when they meet Mystery (stupid, stupid name....) though. These guys are so self conscious, so sad. You get the feeling that they're all good guys, it's just that no one's ever told them how to socially interact, and they never figured it out on their own, and they're suffering because of it. Even after the make-over, you could see glimmers of confidence. This ought to be another good season.

So, any one else see it? Or am I hanging out with Mystery and Matador alone?

I thought it was a cool show. When is it on?
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. It's on VH1 - new episodes are on Sunday night (9 central time). Then they're replayed throughout the week, and I think you can see them on the VH1 website as well.

Oh yeah, I saw it. I didn't even know they were having a 2nd season. But I'm glad I caught it, because I loved the 1st one.

Well, helll-oooo, nurse! That was a good episode. Some very good points made about body language, and how important it is. Also how important it is to be aware of the signals that your own body is sending out.

Interesting that the two guys that did the best on the challenge were the two guys who looked like they were having fun, not the guys doing deep breathing or tried to "meditate" or whatever.

I was also very surprised that two of these guys (the same two, I think) got phone numbers in the field test this week. IIRC, last season, no one was getting phone numbers until much closer to the end of the show. Maybe these guys are more into this as a challenge this time around.
