They are going to be at the Palace on December 9th. I frigging love the palace too, It's a gorgeous place. Louisville still needs a good music venue though. We are a great music town, but we can't usually draw serious acts
.
Unfortunately, they are touring sans Anderson, but as long as I can see Steve Howe I'm still stoked.

Ki was more into the Trevor Rabin years before I met her, so when we saw them 10 years ago, she was blown away by Howe. She didn't think this crypt-keeper looking character would actually be able to keep up!
I think Wakeman was with them, too. And White.
Unfortunately, this was the first time I tried my homemade "green" brownies. Big mistake! They were STRONG! We felt like we'd been drugged, or something!
Very, very sleepy. Haven't had any in years.
The concert was great, though. I might have to check this one out. If we go, I might be up for some dinner and drinks beforehand. Maybe some BBC brew.

Reminds me of a video I saw of (I think) the 97 tour, the first one w/ Billy Sherwood, who happened to play the first solo of the night (on Rhythm of Love). The camera guy obviously wasn't a Yesfan, because every time he heard a guitar solo he'd pan over to Billy, who was just standing there playing rhythm... after about the 5th song he finally figured it outMalik23 wrote:Ki was more into the Trevor Rabin years before I met her, so when we saw them 10 years ago, she was blown away by Howe. Anyone else seen a show yet? We were in Richmond a couple of weeks ago and are seeing them in Greensboro this Friday. The singer is much better than he sounds on the Youtube clips. And Oliver Wakeman is a ringer for his father... he makes playing it look easy, and has the same body language, the way he stands, the way his fingers move, it's uncanny how much he looks like Rick 25 years ago (except he doesn't have the platinum blond hair or the cape
)
I won't put any setlist spoilers in here, but they're playing some songs they haven't played in a *long* time
