Transformers Animated
At first, I couldn't stand it. But it's really grown on me . . . the characters are great, and there are story arcs that last entire seasons.
Plus, Megatron is fabulous . . .

I would love to see a Transformers anime along the lines of Ghost in the Shell or Appleseed. I have to admit the toys for this series are dead on accurate. Also a Master Piece Grimlock is slated for production and it looks great.

Rumor has it that Michael Bay will not use the Dinobots for the second live action movie, which begs for him being instantly crushed under a giant waffle iron for such a travesty.

Given that the cybertronians scan earthforms when they arrive on Earth, I don't see how the writers can justify Dinobots. I suppose you could have had them arrive 65+ million years ago, however . . .

The only issue I have is that Megatron didn't land on Earth when the dinosaurs were around.Kevin164 wrote:The writers could use the original Marvel Comics cannon. Instead of Shockwave as the target for the Dinobots I can see Megatron. It doesn't matter how or why, the Dinobots are like Devastator in that they add to the entertainment of the franchise. Without them it's just not a party.

Didn't the Allspark land about the time of the Dinosaurs? I'll have to watch the movie tonight to see. The original cartoon had the Autobots creating the Dinobots out of Cybertronian technology and bones of dinosaurs in order to have some extra muscle on the battle field.Loremaster wrote:The only issue I have is that Megatron didn't land on Earth when the dinosaurs were around.Kevin164 wrote:The writers could use the original Marvel Comics cannon.
