Excited about the Eleventh Hour
Apparently this is effort to revive an intelligent series that originally starred Patrick Stewart as Prof. Jacob Hood, but didn't do too well. The trailers look wicked. Rufus Sewell is such a great actor and should carry this science crime drama. It will air Thursday right after CSI, both shows are produced by Jerry Buckhiemer.

The series with Patrick Stewart is available on DVD. It was OK a sort of Quatermass meets the X-files at Torchwood HQ.
I think it has been done in various parts by other series and as such provided a collation rather than anything new. Nonetheless Stewart was very good.

I've caught two episodes-last week was very good. This week's plot was a little comic bookish (research monkeys/super-soldier: where have we heard that before?) so not as hot, but Sewell makes anything look good. Actually The Mentalist is edging up their toward my two fav shows-Criminal Minds and NCIS.
