Tuna salad wrap, cup of homemade plain yogurt, grape tomatoes, nectarine, South Beach dark chocolate pudding.

I made the tuna salad by combining a can of regular ol' tuna, chopped onion, chopped black olives, dried dill weed, fat-free feta cheese and a little plain yogurt. Maybe a little fresh-ground pepper, too. I lined the wrap with romaine leaves before I put the tuna mix on top, so the tortilla wouldn't be soggy by lunch time.

Did the romaine leaves work, ali?
I usually pack such things separately, and assemble right before eating.

Pretty well, yeah. It was still a bit leaky on the bottom, but not damp enough to fall apart.

Leftover broccoli-mushroom quiche (nuked, so the crust was soggy -- oh well...), grape tomatoes, an apple, and a 100-calorie cookie pack.

Red chicken curry, made from 1/2 lb. leftover baked chicken, a red curry packet, bamboo shoots, and "lite" coconut milk.

Served over basmati. Enough for both Hyperception and myself. Great stretcher for 1/2 lb. planned over chicken.

Well my food was tasty, what I could eat of it anyway but my experience left much to be desired. I went to Noah's Bagels because Steve wanted an onion bagel with cream cheese to go with his lunch so after waiting at least five minutes for the girls at the order desk to finish their personal conversation I ordered his bagel and then ordered myself a turkey pesto sandwich on a sesame bagel. I asked the girl if the turkey came with onions on it and she said yes so I asked her specifically for no onions. Then she asked me what salad I wanted and listed off pasta, potato or fruit. I asked her if the fruit salad came with pineapple and she said yes so I asked her for potato salad. She put the order in. I watched the girl making my sandwich and she was piling on the onions. I decided to just pick them off when I got back to the shop. So I get my bag of food and come back to the shop and hand Steve his onion bagel and pull my sandwich out and realize that the salad in the bottom of the bag is fruit salad laden with pineapple to which I am highly allergic. I gave the salad to Steve and picked the onions off my sandwich and ate. :-x

That sucks, Jenn!

I had tabbouleh for breakfast, and later this afternoon I had a steak quesadilla for my lunch. I work strange hours, so I just call the first thing I eat in a day breakfast. . . even if it is at 11:00 am, and even if lunch happens around 4:00 pm. And if I am truly lucky I might eat dinner 7:30. . . not so lucky and it is 9:30pm.

I made pasta con sarde for brunch around 11:00 am.
I looked at a few recipes for it online, and then made a quickie cheater version from Italian bread crumbs, tinned sardines in spring water, extra light olive oil, chopped garlic, fresh dill weed, and additional Italian seasoning, served over elbow macaroni.

Oh yum...
...was it worthy. :)

Sausage, sundried tomato, spinach and black olive calzone. Pepperoni, mushroom spinach and artichoke calzone and will be followed later by some triple chocolate mousse cake.

Bacon & feta crustless quiche from Trader Joe's, red pepper strips (raw), fresh pineapple chunks, and a 100-calorie Oreo pack.

And an apple for later. 8)
