Freaky dream, Jenn!

I dreamt I was debating with a few people about the objectivity and subjectivity involved in the value of something someone had that was of both sentimental and monetary value. That object had been stolen by someone in the group, but for some reason most of us felt that it did not need to be returned to the rightful owner.

Sorry to double post, but I had some dreams that I just need to share.

I dreamt that one of the professors at my university was really Mortice Root in disguise, and I freaked him out by calling him by his username instead of by his RL name.

Then I dreamt that I was on the east coast of the US with a few other people, and we were being invaded by some European country, and they were taking away all the Canadians (I'm guessing we were in northern Maine). I had a Canadian flag in my backpack, so my friends and I pretended to be Mexicans, speaking only in Spanish, so that the invaders wouldn't catch me and think I was Canadian. Then, still speaking only Spanish to evade the invaders, I had to climb this snow-covered hill in the middle of summer while a bunch of people were doing some sort of religious ceremony all over the hill, and if I got to the top and over to the other side something terrible would be avoided.

Nah, in my dream you were the only one who was freaking out. I kind of spent the rest of that part of the dream trying to smooth out the situation so you would stop freaking out. I ended up just leaving because we both couldn't figure out what to say.

A couple of nights ago, I had a dream that I was exploded by a woman disguised as a small girl. In a prison.

The other night I dreamed that my friend Caleb wanted me to heat two small pieces of candles to make one candle. . . and when I heated the pieces there was a whoosh of flame that burned me quite badly. When I saw him again I told him about it and all he said was something about "you were dreaming about me!"

My friend Rebecca dreamed that I skinned one of my housemates alive and then tried to do the same to her. It may have been because we're in the middle of a Saw marathon.

Last night I dreamed that the aforementioned friend, Rebecca, and my housemate Chris got together and jointly started giving me the cold shoulder. I woke up feeling upset, and that mood persisted most of the day.

I dreamt that I had been cast as a witch or sorceress or similar in a stage production, and nobody would tell me when or where the rehearsals were so the first time I was there was opening night and I had to ad lib everything. I knew some of my lines (which I forgot promptly when the curtain went up) and a bit of the blocking (which I changed because it didn't seem to fit what was going on with everyone else's lines), but it was a musical and I definitely knew none of the dances or songs. I muddled through it all (it was a minor role, but with a lot of lines and actions), and afterwards when the director began to give us notes to work on for the next show, I was afraid because I knew I would be yelled at a lot for my shoddy performance.

The craziest thing is that in part of the sermon in church today, the priest talked about how actors don't just get out on the stage, they have to prepare and rehearse first (this was supposed to be a metaphor for something but I don't remember what I was supposed to learn from it).

I dreamed that the people I care about were all pulling away from me and I didn't know what to do and so I felt bereft and then Danlo came and saved me and took me to Dennys. Weird. Now I can't get back to sleep.

I dreamed that I missed voting, and then it was discovered that my vote would have swayed the election to the candidate I endorse. . . and my friends all wanted to beat the s**t out of me.
