Last Chrons Foreshadows

Lately as I have been re-reading portions of the Second Chrons - not in any particular order, rather reading some of my favorite sections - I have been noticing some of the foreshadows of the Final Chrons that SRD has left for us to discover. A couple of examples are listed below.

WGW, To Say Farewell - "Caer-Caveral made it possible. Hile Troy." An old longing suffused his tone. "That was the 'necessity' he talked about. Why he had to give his life. It was the only way to open that particular door."

Interesting foreshadow into Jeremiah's abilities? Perhaps the last Forestal is one of Jeremiah's friends...

TOT, Gift of the Forestal - This conflagration was like no other she had ever witnessed. It did not come from his ring, from his half-fist pounding at his temple. It sprang straight from his forehead as if his brain had erupted in argence.

An obvious reference to Joan's predicament.

Also in WGW, Hold Possession - She had not mustered the bare decency to cry aloud as she strangled her mother, drove that poor sick woman terrified and alone into the last dark.

Does this give us a hint about the last book in the story? Will there need to be another intimate and deliberate slaying of someone we love by the object of all of THOOLAH's scorn? (I'd better stop before the old Batman TV show music starts playing...)

A few things are certain:

1) I have not searched the threads to see if a similar discussion exists - Andelain Forgive me if one does...
2) I wasn't sure whether to put this thread in the 2nd Chrons or not and decided that some of this might be spoiler-ish in nature, so here we are
3) there is no way that I am noticing all of the foreshadows present in the 2nd Chrons all by my lonesome self,
4) I would love to hear of other foreshadows that other Watchers have noticed and to read the musings that are sure to accompany these discoveries.

Just to be safe, I'm going to move this to FR. The reference to Jeremiah and doors is spoiler enough.

If it's a reference to Joan's predicament, wouldn't the conflagration HAVE erupted from his half-fist or his ring?

But...

...perhaps the contrast between the two is the point? The fact that Joan's springs from the depth of her despair, and TC never permitted himself to reach that point?

Perhaps the word "predicament" is ill-chosen. Her "condition" might be a more condign choice to describe her in The Last Chrons...caught in the throes of her despair banging her first against her temple to create caesures.

In the scene with the quoted passage, TC is definitely desperate and quite possibly falling into despair as his mind is opened and the Gift of the Forestal is revealed. He is helpless, in spite of his power, to do anything about the actions of the Elohim.

The imagery is what caught my attention the most. Two people in possession of white gold rings, pounding their rings against their temples, the power of which is being used by others to achieve ends not of Joan's or TC's choosing.

I always thought it was a reference to the nature of the Wild Magic... TC always needed the Ring as a crutch, just as he always needed an external force to trigger it. In extreme needs (healing himself during translation, aiding Foamfollower during the crossing of Hotash Slay, etc) he has shown the truth of Mhoram's statement: "You are the White Gold."

This is one of those elemental moments... TC is not conscious or cognizant enough to even be aware of his own limitations; his power springs directly from his need (or, in this cases, his pain).
