Good, but I picture them less buff, less of a warrior stance, more of a studious, contemplative look. Also the color should be sky-blue, right? Maybe more pale?

I picture all the Lords as being older, as it takes many many years of study to become a Lord. Therefore, they would be less vigorous-looking. I'm thinking maybe like in their 60's, would be a good way to view them. Earliest age possible late 40's due to study requirements. I also see some white hair, some wrinkling, particularly around the eyes due to reading books for years on end and hard concentration, and a look of serenity in the eyes due to the satisfaction that their devotion to the Land gives them. And I seem to remember the robes were more like the color of the sky, or maybe I"m thinking of something else. I agree that the robes should be long, with long sleeves. And the style is dead on. Great work, I wish I had some talent along these lines.

Due to the life-lengthening effects of staff-lore, the Lords wouldn't necessarily look particularly old. I never got the impression that Elena was going grey and always thought she looked as if she were in her early-to-mid thirties (whilst really being 40).
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
As vs said, they didn't age as fast as those who didn't use lore.
As for being buff, a Lord had to pass tests of both staff and sword. It seems they overwhelmingly relied on their lore, even in fights, but they must have been in good shape when they passed the tests. I assume they stayed in pretty good shape, because of both the general attitude of everyone in the Land for all kinds of health, and the benefit of using lore.

Great job! It may be too cliched, but I always picture them with longer hair, not so much greying as stately white despite (pardon the expression ) them not really looking their age. I can see them being in good shape but not really wearing clothes that would accentuate their physique. I guess I didn't think they would subscribe to the "if you got it flaunt it" approach.
Ah, you shame me with your superior knowledge. I could have sworn at least one of the Lords had white hair; did I dream that? And what about Variol and Tamarantha? They were doddering elderly folks, weren't they? Variol had trouble staying awake at meetings in the Close and while riding horseback. I do remember this much. I believe they were even described as "ancient" at one point. Mhoram did not want them to go with them because they were so old. But I do remember, now that you remind me, that the Lords did enjoy longer life. I had forgotten that.

Love it. Everything loose and flowing, and didn't they have sashes? Black ones? I need to read again. Alas, next book due in two years and still I need to read TCoTC.........again

I would think the Lords, like any group of people, might be of varying shapes and size.
This picture we have seen, for example, is CLEARLY NOT Hyrim son of Hoole, who was, if we a derisive term from our colloquiolisms, a porker, at least at the beginning.
I imagine Verement, however, being a physical dude. Pity Shetra, because they were supposed to look a bit a like.
But I think he had beard, if I recall that.
I think SRD wants the Lords to be real plain in their clothing, but if a movie were ever done, they'd probably do the Lords at least more like this.
Do, or do not. There is no try.
