We always give odd gifts. We gave SRD a surfing monkey for his wedding gift.

Dammit, sis, sorry I missed it. Happy birfday, my belated twin.

I couldn't afford the real thing, but here is a picture of what I would buy you if possible:

I feel calmly frantic and serenely irritable. I kind of want to break apart a large lego structure piece by piece--a bit of peaceful destruction, you might say.

It's Wednesday. Middle of the week. I feel pretty good despite the cold temperatures and the palpable moisture hanging thick in the air. I also have to report for jury duty on Monday the 17th. Ugh.

I'm two weeks after you... though the last couple of times I've been summoned I called the night before and they didn't need me to come in. Much better than the old system.

So you guys don't have to vote but it's mandatory to do jury duty?

I am sick (as per usual) and over it (and under it...or something) and nearly dying of amazement after seeing Creator post on KW (other than in the WoW forum).

COME BACK TO US oh WoWy ones! You are missed. So, ok, I know there's a new update thingy whatsit relmy thinginy-bob and so we'll probably not see you now for another year or so but I can't help wishing. I'm worried about you guys. What happens if suddenly WoW doesn't exist anymore? Does Blizzard have wards set up for you guys to do rehab.

OOOH! OOOH! Luci! You know those things they're building in that national park in the US that you were talking about...perhaps they're actually being constructed by Blizzard Entertainment! You'll all end up there!!!!!! 8O

Here endith my nonsensical rant!

...I need a hug! :(

Hugs, Sea! :)

Yes, that's right, you don't have to go and vote, but if you get a summons for jury duty you'd better show up or the sheriff could come and arrest your butt. Welcome to America. Even more oddly, most jurisdictions pull their juror pools from voter registration lists....

OH! I forgot to tell you about *my* day! I'm still at work. I agreed to stay late tonight for the evening secretary, who has a class on Wednesdays now or something. It took me almost exactly an hour to log into her computer, and I'm only supposed to be here for a couple of hours anyway. I had a book to read, but it's been kind of a waste. Except for the extra cash, and the free dinner from the firm for working late (scallops and asparagus with garlic sauce).

I'm feeling pretty good. I'm putting down my membership here on a job application to the library. An author fansite should look good, right?

That or creepy.
