Yep. They have events starting at 10PM. I don't know what time I will get there - probably not quite that early, but I do want to check it out and get in line early since I didn't reserve a copy of the limited edition.

Aww.. I didn't get there until about 11 - almost called you but was afraid it might be too late.

Line was 4-5 blocks long by midnight. Some decent costumes, including a hunter with a pet.

Got my copy and am waaaay too tired to install it tonight - been up for almost 24 hours.

See you in Northrend!

I made the mistake of asking Lucimay if she wanted to go to the Mervyns closeout sale tonight and was informed of the importance of the Leechfield Witch King of Agmar release. 8O :P

Blizzard official downloader started working (it apparently worked for a while yesterday too but was shutdown, because of the bandwidth), so I've stopped torrenting and gone for that (faster). Just past halfway through, it's taken a couple of hours so far because it had to download 1.9Gb to install. Can't play while it's downloading, but it's only going to be another couple of hours.

Thanks again, Damelon, for buying it for me so I could get on at all. :D

Heh. I put a parachute in my main cape with the new engineering skill - and it's on my toolbar, so hopefully I will remember to use it.

I am not a WoW'er personally, but I was thinking of you guys when I saw a Yahoo news article about hardcore WoW people getting together for events in costume. Gotta love the dedication!

Travel in Northrend is expensive, but don't go to one of those discount places. Even if they're offering one of those 'pets fly free' deals. 8O

I dunno, she looks a bit irked. "Just you wait until this thing lands!"

Oh well.. better than the time I dropped her down the pit in Sunken Temple to see what would happen.

...and down the well in Dalaran.

If you need me, I'll be hiding from DEHTA.

Eyes of the Beast.

The well is on the main level in Dalaran, I think towards the middle. It's fairly small, and has a ramp up the side. You can't see much from the top, but once you jump down there's a barrier, and you can see the sewers somewhere beneath. My cat didn't take any damage from the fall, and hopped back out as soon as I stopped channeling. No harm done, though I had thought she might fall out the bottom of the city and end up somewhere in Crystalsong.

Looks good! I do love some of the views whilst travelling between places.
